Cops: 1 hurt in Lindenhurst industrial accident
A worker was injured Tuesday afternoon in an industrial accident on Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst, police said.
The man's arm and chest got stuck in a conveyor belt, and he was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with burns and serious injuries to his left arm, Suffolk County police said.
The call came in at 3:21 p.m., said police, who had no further detail at the time.
