Suffolk County police have arrested a woman and charged her with stabbing her boyfriend to death at the Bay Shore home they shared.

The incident began Sunday evening when Raedel Hawkins, 51, got into an argument with Scott Beverly, 52, police said. At some point, Hawkins grabbed a knife and stabbed Beverly, who was later pronounced dead at Southside Hospital, according to police.

Police gave no details about the nature of the dispute. Hawkins was being held on $1 million bail after her arraignment in First District Court in Central Islip on a charge of manslaughter in the first degree, a jail official said.
