Cops: 2 arrested on drugs, weapons charges

An investigation into possible drug dealings resulted Tuesday in two arrests and the discovery of weapons, drugs, and $2,600 in stolen electronics at a Selden home, Suffolk police said.
Robert Lynch, 55, and Thomas Reilly, 52, both of 569 Hawkins Rd., were arrested at their home by Emergency Service Section officers executing a search warrant.
Lynch was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, and multiple counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Reilly was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, a sawed-off shotgun, and with criminal contempt.
Both men were to be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court, Central Islip.
