Two Suffolk County men have been arrested on burglary charges after breaking into 10 homes over a three-month span and stealing jewelry, computers, televisions and other electronics, police said Tuesday.

Suffolk County police arrested Brian Firman, 20, of Bay Shore, and Tyler Ciervo, 20, of Holtsville, on Monday and charged them with burglarizing two Holtsville houses earlier that day.

Further investigation revealed the two were responsible for at least eight other daytime burglaries in Holtsville, Holbrook and Medford over the past three months, police said.

A police spokeswoman said the two broke into homes during the daytime hours, when they were unoccupied.

Each is charged with 10 counts of second-degree burglary and is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in First District Court in Central Islip.

Police said the investigation of the burglaries is ongoing.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers, 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
