Cops: 2 sought in Riverhead Target theft

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of two women seen Nov. 23 on surveillance video leaving a Target store and believed to be concealing in their bags multiple hard drives for which they hadn't paid. The two women, who appear to be in their mid-20s, are wanted for grand larceny, Suffolk County police said. The incident occurred about 11:30 a.m. at the Target at 1150 Old Country Rd., Riverhead.
One woman, with long brown hair, was wearing a white and blue polo shirt, dark jacket, blue jeans and tan shoes. The other, with long black hair, wore a purple jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.
Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS (8477). All calls will remain confidential.
