Cops: 2 sought in theft of Bluetooths
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Second Precinct Crime Section are looking for two men who in May stole merchandise from the Walt Whitman Shops in Huntington Station, police said Thursday.
Police released photographs Thursday of the two men taken from video surveillance at the Brookstone store at 160 Walt Whitman Rd.
At about 3:45 p.m. on May 22 two men entered the store, police said. With one acting as a lookout, the other man took five Bluetooth wireless headphones from a display and put them into a shopping bag, police said.
The men then left the store without paying for the items, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
