Cops: 3 Brentwood teens charged with theft

Three Brentwood teenagers were arrested and charged Thursday with stealing cash and property from unlocked Brentwood vehicles in recent weeks, police said.
Andre Hernandez, 18, of 63 Kopf St., and Yubeiker Murillo, 18, of 246 Claywood Dr., were both charged with two counts of petit larceny for an alleged theft Monday. Hernandez was also charged with marijuana possession.
Sarah Dowd, 18, of 186 Studley St., was charged with petty larceny and criminal possession of a controlled substance in an unrelated incident, police said.
Hernandez and Murillo stole a cellphone and cash Monday from a parked car on Noble Street, police said. Dowd stole a GPS, papers and loose change from a vehicle Thursday, police said.
All were scheduled to be arraigned Friday in First District Court, Central Islip.
