Three men stopped for speeding Sunday night on Sunrise Highway in Hampton Bays face drug charges after allegedly being in possession of cocaine and marijuana, state police said.

Trooper Kevin Drew stopped a gray Audi for doing 90 mph in a 55-mph zone, police said, on eastbound Sunrise near Exit 65 at about 5:30 p.m.

The driver, Eleazar Ramos, 24, of 1937 90th St., Corona, did not have a driver's license, and the two passengers, Jokoinly Bonilla, 18, of 433 97th St., Corona, and Jose Sanchez-Martinez, 20, of 409 59th St., Brooklyn, also were without identification, police said.

During an inventory search, the trooper found a foil package with 8 grams of cocaine, envelopes, an electronic scale and a small quantity of marijuana, police said. All three were arrested and accused of drug possession, police said.

The three are charged with possession of a narcotic drug, possession of a forged instrument, criminal use of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Ramos also is charged with a number of traffic violations.

Arraignment information was not immediately available.
