Cops: Accident shuts Sunrise eastbound in Bay Shore
Sunrise Highway's eastbound lanes were closed Monday night at Brentwood Road due to a car accident, Suffolk police said.
The accident occurred just before 10 p.m. in the service road near Brentwood Road, Exit 44, in Bay Shore, police said. By Tuesday morning, the Department of Transportation's website was reporting no issues on the highway.
No further information about the crash was immediately available Monday night.
