Cops: Aquebogue woman drove without license
An Aquebogue woman was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license Wednesday in Cutchogue, Southampton Town police said.
Kerryann Brown, 39, was pulled over shortly after 11 a.m. on Route 48 after police spotted her with an expired vehicle inspection sticker.
Police then found her driver's license had expired. She is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Her arraignment information was not immediately available.
Police also said a Cutchogue man was injured Wednesday when his vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole, a street sign and then a tree.
William Krill, 74, was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital by Suffolk County Police Aviation after he crashed at about 2 p.m. on Route 25 in Cutchogue, police said.
Police said in a news release that the extent of Krill's injuries was "unknown at this time."
