Cops: Armed men rob Huntington Station shop

Three armed men robbed a Huntington Station jewelry store Tuesday, stealing jewelry and cash, Suffolk police said.

The three entered the A and D Jewelry and Stuff store, 1480A New York Ave. at 4:30 p.m. armed with handguns, police said, and forced the clerk to open the store's safe.

After striking the clerk in the back of the head with a gun, they took valuables and cash from the safe and fled on foot, police said. The store clerk declined medical attention.
