Suffolk police on Saturday night arrested four people near events at the Paramount Theater in Huntington.

Police said Jimmy Rodridguez, 27, of 4 Caldwell St., Huntington Station, was charged with criminal possession of marijuana; Erin Bergano, 19, St. Andrew St., Glen Cove, was charged with using someone else's driver's license to identify herself; Kyle Guarini, 18, of 64 Burtis Ave., Oyster Bay, was charged with harassment while outside 379 New York Ave., Huntington, a few doors down from the Paramount, for allegedly pushing someone; and Christopher Hughes, 17, of 91 Sixth Ave. Holtsville, was charged with obstructing governmental administration for allegedly interfering with police trying to establish crowd control.

Police said that about 11 p.m. Saturday they told Paramount officials to stop selling alcohol and a half-hour later told them to turn the music off.

About 35 police officers were dispatched from the Second Precinct including COPE officers as well as emergency services, K9, the SAFE-T team and neighboring precincts, authorities said.

In a statement, town Supervisor Frank Petrone said he is very concerned about Saturday's events and plans to meet with Suffolk County police, the town's public safety director and the Paramount's operators.

"This is not the type of activity we anticipated, nor will it be tolerated," the statement said. "I want this kind of activity to cease."

Dominic Catoggio, one of the Paramount owners, did not return a call for comment. A spokesman for the owners declined to comment.

Huntington Community First Aid Squad spokeswoman Andrea Golinsky said five people attending the Paramount party were taken to Huntington Hospital.
