Cops at Sachem North High School as precaution after threat
There was a police presence outside Sachem North High School in Ronkonkoma on Monday, after police said detectives became aware of a threat made Saturday against the school.
Suffolk County police did not detail specifics of the threat, which they said detectives first became aware of them on Sunday.
The threat was made via an undisclosed app and were circulated via that app Saturday, police said. Police said an investigation into the incident found there was no credible threat.
