Mastic man ID’d as body found in Nesconset pool, cops say

Suffolk homicide detectives have identified a man whose body was found in a Nesconset swimming pool on Friday.

Dominique Bethune, 20, of Mastic, was unresponsive when he was discovered shortly after 3 p.m. in a pool at a Chivalry Lane residence, police said Monday.

Bethune’s body was taken to the Suffolk medical examiner’s office, which will determine the cause of death, authorities said.
