Cops: Brentwood man shot in his driveway

A man was shot at and wounded Thursday evening when he was walking up the driveway to his Brentwood home, Suffolk police said.

One of two men near his home on Arthur Street fired at him about 6 p.m., police said, striking the victim in the forearm.

The two men fled, and the victim was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was treated and released, police said.

Third Squad detectives were investigating the case.
