An 80-year-old woman on oxygen was rescued after a fire started in her Brentwood bedroom Wednesday night, Suffolk police said.

The woman, whose identity was not released, was not injured in the 6:30 p.m. blaze on Central Boulevard but was taken to the hospital as a precaution, police said.

Arson detectives were sent to the scene, but the cause of the fire does not appear to be suspicious, police said.

No other details were available.
