Cops: Brentwood woman stole woman's cell phone, bit her
A Brentwood woman tried to steal another woman's cell phone and bit her finger after the two argued early Wednesday, Nassau County police said.
Wanda Tejada, 18, of 108 Chapel Hill Dr. in Brentwood, and another woman started arguing at about 1:53 a.m. in Hempstead, police said.
Tejada grabbed the other woman's cell phone during the spat and bit her finger, police said.
Tejada is charged with one count of robbery and was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Thursday.
