A Sayville man faces a boating while intoxicated charge after ramming his boat Monday morning into a bulkhead on the Patchogue River, Suffolk County police said.

Joseph Leon, 45, drove the boat into the bulkhead at Sandspit Marina at about 1 a.m., police said. He and a male passenger were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
