No one was injured yesterday when a car went through the front of a Petco in Selden, Suffolk police said.
The crash occurred at 3:17 p.m. at the retailer's 1100 Middle Country Rd. location.
A Honda Civic, for unknown reasons, went up a curb and through the store's front plate glass window, police said.
Initial reports indicated no structural damage to the building.
Officers did not say what, if any, store merchandise was damaged or how many people were inside at the time.
A Petco employee who answered the phone at the store shortly after the crash would not comment.
A corporate spokeswoman, based in San Diego, did not immediately return a call.
Police said no arrests were made in connection with the crash, but were unable to provide any additional details.
