A convicted sex offender from Ridge was arrested Thursday after he failed to register a change of address, Southampton Town police said.

Jason Annunziato, 28, of Ridge, was arrested at his residence by Suffolk County police and turned over to Southampton Town police, according to a release.

Annunziato was convicted in 2005 of third-degree rape, according to the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services website. He is charged with failing to register a change of address, a felony.

Arraignment information was not immediately available.
