A 32-year-old Copiague man was arrested Wednesday on child pornography charges after he was caught with "a quantity of sexually explicit videos of underage children on his computer," State Police said.

Victor M. Nieto is charged with multiple counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony, police said.

Nieto offered to share the videos on the Internet, police said. The investigation was conducted by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the State Police Computer Crime Unit, police said.

The videos were found last month in Nieto's former apartment after State Police executed a search warrant, investigators said.

Nieto is being held until his arraignment Thursday in Suffolk County First District Court, Central Islip, police said.
