Cops: Coram man charged with murder

A Coram man was arrested Wednesday in the fatal stabbing of another Coram man Sunday night in Medford, police said.
Darrell Scott, 25, of Burwood Lane, was charged with second-degree murder in the death of Chauncey Scott, 32, Suffolk County police said. The suspect and victim are not related, police said.
The stabbing occurred about 6:10 p.m. Sunday during a fight on the corner of Baldwin Lane and Pinegrove Avenue in Medford, police said.
The alleged killer was awaiting arraignment Thursday in First District Court in Central Islip, police said.
