Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a Deer Park bank Friday afternoon, Suffolk County police said.

The man entered New York Commercial Bank at 720 Grand Blvd., about 3:20 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding an unknown amount of cash. The robber then fled on foot.

The robber is described as unshaven, in his 40s, 5-feet-7 to 5-feet-9, with a thin build and fair complexion. He was wearing a brown collared long sleeve shirt, a dark colored baseball hat, blue jeans, sneakers, and glasses with clear lenses.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain anonymous.
