A Huntington Station man was charged with drunken driving Feb. 1, 2014, after the van he was driving crashed into a house on West Hills Road in Huntington Station, Suffolk County police said. Christian Paleta-Cordero, 26, was charged after being treated for minor injuries at Huntington Hospital. No one at the home was injured, police said. Credit: Stringer News Service

A Huntington Station man was charged with drunken driving after crashing his van late Saturday into a house, police said.

Christian Paleta-Cordero, 26, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet van when he drove into the West Hills Road home in Huntington Station at 11:05 p.m., Suffolk County police said.

No one at the home was injured. The extent of the damage was not immediately known.

Paleta-Cordero was taken to Huntington Hospital with minor injuries and later charged with driving with intoxicated, police said.
