Cops: Driver's license had 8 suspensions
A Center Moriches man, stopped for failing to dim his high-beam headlights on the Southern State Parkway Wednesday in Bay Shore, was driving with a license that had been suspended eight times, State Police said.
Daniel Lovell, 27, is charged with felony unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and traffic violations and also criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
Police said they found a glass pipe containing cocaine residue in Lovell's gray Acura.
Police pulled over Lovell around 9:20 p.m., as he was driving near Exit 41, Bay Shore Road.
He is scheduled to appear in First District Court in Central Islip on March 13.
