Riverhead Town police are looking for a driver who struck a teenage jogger in Baiting Hollow Monday and then drove away.

Police said the jogger, 17, was on East Meadow Drive at around 2 p.m. when she was hit.

Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance took the jogger to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said their immediate search for a vehicle described as dark-colored minivan was unsuccessful.

Anyone with information on the hit-and-run can call police at 631-727-4500.
