Cops: Driver without headlights was drunk
A man stopped early Friday morning in Southampton for driving his car without headlights was arrested and charged with felony drunken driving, police said.
Tyler J. Intermaggio, 27, of Southampton, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated because he has a previous DWI conviction within the past 10 years, Southampton Town police said.
Police said Intermaggio was on Majors Path just before 5 a.m. when officers stopped him for driving without headlights. An investigation revealed Intermaggio was drunk, police said.
Intermaggio was held for arraignment Friday in Southampton Town Justice Court.
