Cops: DWI arrest after driver crashes into bushes outside Deer Park home
A 29-year-old Dix Hills man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after police said he crashed his car into bushes early Monday outside a house in Deer Park, Suffolk County police said.
Police said the crash occurred near the intersection of Straight Path and Nantucket Lane at 1:22 a.m. There were no reported injuries.
The driver, identified as Ali Mohsin, drove his 2000 Ford Taurus into bushes on the lawn of a house on Nantucket Lane, police said.
He was arrested at the scene at charged with DWI. Mohsin faces arraignment Monday in First District Court in Central Islip, police said.
