A 23-year-old Huntington man was arrested on drunken-driving charges early Saturday after hitting several parked vehicles with his sport utility vehicle, police said.

James Miller was driving a 2004 Land Rover in a Town of Huntington municipal parking lot at 12:35 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle and struck two parking signs and eight unoccupied vehicles, causing damage to several of them, Suffolk police said.

Second Precinct patrol officers arrested Miller on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated.

He was also issued a summons for driving without a license, police said. Miller, of 40 Platt Place, Huntington, will be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Central Islip.

There were no injuries in the crash.
