An East Hampton man was arrested early Saturday morning in Bridgehampton after he was found in a car with marijuana and cocaine, Southampton Town police said.

Police said Marco Amay-Espana, 21, was sitting in a vehicle parked in a rear parking lot on Montauk Highway with two other people just after midnight.

When police went to the vehicle, they said they found a large bag of marijuana on the driver's seat, and cocaine in Amay-Espana's possession.

Amay-Espana was arrested and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. He was taken to police headquarters for processing and held for arraignment.

The other two occupants of the vehicle were not charged, police said.
