Cops: East Islip man crashes in Fla., killing self and passenger
An East Islip man and his female passenger were killed when the Dodge Viper he was driving crashed into a tree off Interstate 95 in Florida, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Raymond Sayage, 51, and passenger Keri Lynn Sapanara, 34, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, were pronounced dead at the scene after the crash at about 6 p.m. last Thursday, according to the agency.
Sayage was driving a 2006 Dodge Viper north on I-95 in St. Lucie County, just a few miles north of the Martin County border, and his car “for an undetermined reason” left the roadway, went into the median and struck a tree, according to a report by the agency.
