Cops: Expect traffic delays around Hamptons triathlon

Expect traffic delays Sunday morning when the 31st Annual Mighty Hamptons Triathlon takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., with bikers and runners traveling roads in Sag Harbor, Noyack, North Sea, Water Mill, Bridgehampton and North Haven, Southampton Town Police said.

Especially likely to be impacted are Noyac Road, Majors Path, Head of Pond Road, Scuttle Hole Road, Brick Kiln Road, Stoney Hill Road, Long Beach Road and Route 114, said police, who advised motorists to avoid those areas if possible or drive with caution.
