Cops: Flanders man charged with DWI
A 25-year-old Flanders man was arrested early Sunday and charged with driving while intoxicated after he was stopped for speeding and failure to maintain his lane, police said.
Nicholas Fisher was arrested on Flanders Road in Flanders after being stopped at 3:19 a.m., Southampton Town police said. Police said Fisher refused a prescreen breath test -- and was charged with that, as well as with DWI, speeding and moving from his lane unsafely. Police said he also had uninspected motor vehicle and an open container of alcohol.
