Cops: Huntington Station man shot while walking on street

Suffolk County police are investigating the shooting of a man as he walked along a Huntington Station street Wednesday night.

Shaka Butler, 21, of Huntington Station, was walking along Broadway at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday when two men approached him and shot him in the neck, he told police.

Butler was taken to Huntington Hospital by ambulance by Huntington Community Rescue, where he was admitted in stable condition.
