The body of a homeless man was found Thursday afternoon near Port Jefferson Harbor, authorities said.

Marlon Lewis, 28 and with no known address, appears to have drowned, Suffolk police said.

Lewis’ body was found by a Village of Port Jefferson Constable around 1:45 p.m, police said.

Suffolk County Police Homicide Unit detectives are investigating the death.

An autopsy will be performed by the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
