Cops: Man arrested in stabbing outside Central Islip 7-Eleven

A man was arrested because he stabbed another man outside a 7-Eleven on Calebs Path in Central Islip Wednesday evening, police said.

Suffolk police said they responded to a report of an adult male who had been stabbed outside the convenience store about 5:30 p.m. The victim was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore with nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.

No further details about the identity of the arrested man were immediately available, a police spokesman said.
