Cops: Man arrested with goods stolen from parked cars

A man was arrested and charged with possession of stolen goods early Monday after police said an officer stopped him as he carried two shopping bags filled with items just taken from two parked cars in Huntington Station.
Gregory Roosa, 40, of Huntington Station, was charged with five counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property after his arrest about 2:50 a.m. on Roxanne Court by Suffolk County Officer Robert Lubanski, of the Second Precinct, police said.
Police said Roosa was carrying two bags filled with GPS devices, an iPod and clothing.
The items had been stolen from vehicles on Roxanne Court, Folsom Avenue and Vidoni Place, police said.
Roosa will be arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday.
