Cops: Man charged $2G in goods to Ronkonkoma contractor

Suffolk County police are looking for a man who falsely charged $2,000 worth of plumbing equipment to the account of a Ronkonkoma contractor.

Seventh Precinct detectives say a man made the purchase from Blackman Plumbing Supply in Rocky Point on Nov. 25. The suspect said he worked for a Ronkonkoma contractor and charged the purchase to that account, police said.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information can call 800-220-8477.
