A Bay Shore man first refused to pull up his low-riding pants that exposed his rear end and then became combative, using foul language in the lobby of a Suffolk County building in Hauppauge on Wednesday, State Police said.

Jose Morales, 20, is charged with exposure of a person, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after being arrested at about 2:12 p.m. in the lobby of the Suffolk County Traffic Violations Bureau Building at 250 Veterans Hwy.

A woman had asked a trooper in the building if he could ask that Morales pull up his pants "because the man's buttocks" were exposed, according to a news release.

When the trooper asked Morales to pull up his pants, Morales "became combative" and "began yelling and using foul language," the release said. He also physically resisted arrest, police said.

Arraignment information for Morales, of 45 Anna Rd., was not immediately available.
