Cops: Man found dead in his backyard swimming pool in East Northport
An East Northport man found unresponsive in his swimming pool Saturday was pronounced dead at the scene, Suffolk County police said.
Lewis Conte, 63, was found in a backyard swimming pool at his home on Franconia Road about 4:30 p.m., police said.
Second Precinct officers responded after a call was made to 911. A physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner pronounced Conte dead, police said.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392.
