Suffolk County police pulled a Cold Spring Harbor man out of a swimming pool Saturday afternoon, police said.

Police were called to the home on Rogers Drive shortly after 4 p.m. where a 66-year-old man nearly drowned in a home swimming pool, police said.

A neighbor and a police officer pulled the man from the pool, and police performed CPR and used a defibrillator to resuscitate him, police said.

The man was taken by ambulance to Huntington Hospital in serious condition, police said.
