Two cousins involved in a fender-bender early Friday morning in Southold were drunk and driving without a license, police said.

Victor M. Dubon-Garcia, 24, and Efrain Garcia, 26, who both live at 430 First St., Greenport, were held at Southold Town police headquarters in Peconic pending arraignment Friday in Southold Town Court.

Arraignment information was unavailable.

Southold police said Dubon-Garcia, driving a 1995 Honda north on Main Bayview Road at 12:01 a.m., slowed to stop at the intersection at State Route 25. Garcia, driving a 1997 Honda, could not stop in time and rear-ended Dubon-Garcia's car, police said.

Neither man was injured, police said.

Both drivers were unlicensed and intoxicated, and Garcia's driving privileges had been suspended because of a previous drunken-driving arrest, police said.

Garcia was charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, police said. He and Dubon-Garcia were charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
