Cops: Man robbed 3 banks in four days
A North Patchogue man was arrested Tuesday and charged with robbing three Suffolk banks in four days, police said.
James Kosin, 42, of 68 Patchogue Ave., was charged with three counts of third-degree robbery. Suffolk detectives said Kosin robbed the Bethpage Federal Credit Union bank in North Babylon on Friday, the Bank of America in Dix Hills on Saturday and a Chase bank in East Setauket on Monday.
Kosin, arrested at the Abbey Motel in Huntington Station, was to be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court, Central Islip.
