Cops: Man shot in Lake Grove

A man was shot in Lake Grove on Friday night and taken to a hospital for treatment, Suffolk police said.

The shooting was at a location on Stony Brook Road about 8:30 p.m., police said.

No information was immediately available from police on the injured man's condition, or the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Fourth Squad detectives were investigating, police said.
