A 21-year-old man was hospitalized after being shot in the arm by an unknown assailant late Tuesday outside his home in West Babylon, police said.

Suffolk County police did not release the name of the victim. Police there are "no known suspects" in the case.

The shooting occurred outside the home on Fulton Street at 11:43 p.m., police said.

The victim was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, where he was in stable condition Wednesday, police said.
