Cops: Man shot, wounded on Wyandanch street
A man was shot and wounded on a Wyandanch street Tuesday evening, Suffolk police said.
He was taken by ambulance from North 15th Street to Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Islip about 7 p.m. for treatment of a gunshot wound to his stomach, police said.
The condition of the man, whose identity was not released, was not immediately available.
The shooting did not appear to be random, police said, but details surrounding it were not known.
