Suffolk County police are seeking help in identifying a man wanted for questioning in connection with the sexual assault of a woman late last year at a commercial site in the 600 block of Route 109 in West Babylon.

A picture of the man, whose image was caught on surveillance cameras, was released Friday -- in hopes, police said, someone will recognize him and call authorities.

The man, heavyset with close-cropped hair, is seen wearing a jacket and sunglasses, hand is his left pocket.

Police said the assault occurred at the location on Route 109 at about 1 p.m. Dec. 19.

Anyone with information about the identity of the man seen in the surveillance footage is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential -- and callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for any information leading to an arrest in the case, police said.
