A Manorville woman was arrested on a drunken-driving charge after police said she crashed her car into a house in Mastic Beach late Tuesday.

The 26-year-old woman, whose identity was not immediately released, was arrested after being taken by Mastic Beach Fire Department Ambulance to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue. Suffolk County police said she suffered "minor facial injuries."

She was charged with driving while intoxicated.

Police said the crash occurred at 11:33 p.m.

It was then, police said, that the woman, driving a 2013 Hyundai, crashed into the occupied home on Robinson Drive. No one in the home was injured and, police said, the house was determined to be "structurally sound," describing the damage as "minor."

No arraignment information was immediately available.
