Cops: Motorcyclist dies in Amityville crash

A motorcyclist died Monday night after he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a building in Amityville, Suffolk police said.

The victim, a man in his 20s, crashed about 7:55 p.m., police said, into a building near the intersection of Dixon Avenue and Overland Avenue.

Additional information concerning the victim's identity and the accident was not immediately available from police. Second Squad detectives were investigating the accident.
