Motorcyclist dies in Manorville crash, cops say

A motorcyclist died after veering off a road and crashing in a wooded area Saturday night in Manorville, Suffolk police said.

Anthony Balbi, 22, of Selden, was westbound on Mill Road shortly after 6 p.m. when he apparently lost control of his 2012 Honda motorcycle on a curve and hit a tree, police said.

He was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
